Our Team

Melissa brings over a decade of connection to the program, having had both her oldest and youngest children attend My Father’s World Preschool. She began teaching at My Father’s World in 2022 and became Director in 2024.

With a strong passion for early childhood education, Melissa is dedicated to nurturing young learners and supporting families through both her leadership role and classroom experience.

Fun fact: She loves to read! She can often be found with a book, Kindle, or audiobook while chauffeuring her three kids around town for activities.

We are so blessed to welcome Andrea to our preschool family! Andrea brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for helping young children learn and grow. We are excited for all that she will bring to our 4’s classroom as she encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and helps prepare our students for their next big step into kindergarten. We are grateful to have Andrea as part of our team and can’t wait to see her shine this year!

Katie has a deep love for working with children and brings a wide range of experience, including daycare, Awana leadership, and coaching cheer, to My Father’s World — a place she is proud to call home. She is continuing her Early Childhood Education studies through MCC.

Katie and her husband are raising four amazing children, two of whom attended My Father’s World. She enjoys crafting, baking, attending her daughter’s cheer competitions, and playing outside with her three boys.

Fun fact: She has three tortoises in addition with a cat, two dogs and two hermit crabs at home. She dreams of starting a tortoise rescue one day!

Natalie, known to the children as Mrs. B, feels truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.

She attended McHenry County College and has continued her professional growth through Early Childhood Education classes and seminars.

Natalie and her husband have two children, a 19-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son.

Fun fact: In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading.

Sheri has been a dedicated teacher at My Father’s World Preschool for over 15 years, bringing a wealth of experience to the classroom. She has taught in all three age groups — 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s.

As a lifelong resident of Crystal Lake, she values building strong relationships with the families and children in her community.

Fun fact: She enjoys baking, especially during the Christmas season, and loves sharing her homemade treats with the staff.

Nancy has been part of My Father’s World for over 10 years and brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including preschool programs, before- and after-school care, and summer camps.

She studied Early Childhood Education at Southwestern Michigan College and is passionate about helping young children grow and thrive.

Fun fact: She loves to garden!

Sara is currently completing her degree in Early Childhood Education and brings with her valuable experience working in preschool classrooms. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and love for working with young children will be wonderful additions to our 3’s classroom. We are excited to welcome Sara to our team and look forward to all the creativity, care, and experience she will bring to our students this year!

Traci is a mom of five who spent 10 years working in Early Childhood before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, especially cheering on her children. She feels truly blessed to be a teacher at MFW and looks forward to getting to know all of your little ones.

Fun Fact: In her free time, she loves reading and watching her children compete in sports.

Stephanie is married and a proud mom of two. She loves traveling, all things Disney, and spending quality time with her family. After previously teaching at MFW, she now serves as the Office Manager at Prince of Peace, where she continues to support and connect with families in the community.

Pastor Rubeck serves as Pastor of Prince of Peace and supports the mission and spiritual foundation of My Father’s World Preschool.
